BENGALURU: The State Department of Education Research and Training has issued an important circular regarding the celebration of 'Bag Free' day for school children in the name of celebration Saturday.
It has been ordered to observe bag free day on one Saturday in every month with the aim of providing enjoyable learning to the school children of the state and making them learn cheerfully without burdening them with the text.
In the year 2023-24, the said activities have been told to be held on the 3rd Saturday of every month at the school level, and 10 self-explanatory modules have been prepared for students on various subjects and guide manuals for teachers to develop civic consciousness by involving children in multi-faceted activities.
On the day of celebration on Saturday, all district level and block level officials and CRPs are required to visit the schools compulsorily and provide necessary guidance and participation for the success of the program.
